N065 English Silver and Green Glass Inkwell with Figural Fox

An English sterling silver and glass inkwell with a three dimensional fox on the hinged lid. The green glass has is faceted and highlighted with gold tone decoration. The maker is Andrew Barrett & Sons, Birmingham and dated 1910. Height 4 1/2" to the fox's tail. Height of the glass only 3"; diameter 3 3/4". Very good condition with no chips or cracks to the glass and no dents on the silver; there are a few areas of wear to the gold. There is no liner for the inkwell. Marked inside the lid and on the neck.
